The cat I'm holding, that's Sadie; she died over a year and four months ago; she was about 17-18 years old. I'd had her since I was a baby, and I had to have her put down because she had stomach cancer. It was the hardest thing I ever did, but I couldn't stand to watch her suffer and it was for the best. But still, I come home and expect to walk around the corner from my foyer, and see her waiting for me in the kitchen, by the stairs to the second floor.

So, I fully understand your pain. Perhaps more than anyone else. I thought I'd never get over Sadie, but time never fails to make a heartache stop.
