One of Leon's (and my) favorite pass times and hobbies is watching baseball and even playing it himself. Although he could easily be an all star athlete it doesn't play it professionally because he would be too good and people would probably start getting suspicious of his seemingly never ending speed and strength. As most A list baseball pitchers throw within the 99 to 103mph balls. And the extremely best of the best, which often end up being the closing pitchers for teams can throw up to 105mph. If Leon really locked in and focused up, he could easily throw over that speed, so, he doesn't.
Though that doesn't mean he doesn't occasionally like to play as a way to relieve some stress after long and busy missions and daring fights and near death experiences! Leon could easily play any position, and probably bat absolutely insane hits and many home runs. But he finds pitching to be the most rewarding and stress relieving. Something about having the whole game on his shoulders and being the first line of defense for his team really gets him going. Here we can see Leon brought down a close friend Blueberry for some catching practice, though, Leon never told Blueberry that the catching to be done would be from his pitches, Blueberry simply thought some simple tosses and warm-ups like players do during and Inning break.
One could only imagine what kind of damage a pitch from Leon could do....
What a lovely piece I got from an artist who's returned for their second piece for me~ I'm so happy with how it came out. I'm a massive, massive baseball fan! Obviously from the last baseball focused piece I got you can tell I'm a fan of the San Diego Padres, and so I got both Leon and blueberry drawn in their standard brown and gold outfit. This piece I got for blueberry, who is a good friend of mine and who I had told I wanted to get something with them to strength our friendship, so here ya go!!!
