We actually finished the Humblewood module and after a year and a half (about 30 sessions at 4-5hrs each) I decided Saph would get a redraw in current equipment after all was said and done. Still sporting the studded leather armor he gained a few additions. After shouting down the Bandit coalition's leader, forcing her to accept her men had been committing atrocities, Saph and the Party's Raven Rogue committed to hunting down any members of the Coalition that did not submit to joining the Perch guard. During this time Saph became known as the executioner and donned an executioner hood sewn from cloth in the Coalition's colors. (This also doubles as a nod to the God of Fate who has two aspects the Jester and the Executioner) Later the party is summoned to investigate the growing threat of the scorched grove and set off towards the home of all academic knowledge. However, on their way there, the party looses one of their own, Alli the Jerbeen farmer, is carried off in the night by a forest predator. The party is too late to save him, but take bloody vengeance on the beast. Saph later has its hide fashioned into a cloak and the monster's supernatural ability to grow plants on its hide is preserved allowing him to grow the Dandelions Alli worked so hard to cultivate alongside roses from his monastery's garden. The sword he now carries once belonged to the Bandit leader, wreathed in vines it allows him to summon a field of roses that hinder his foes, but not him thanks to his deft movements and practiced fighting style. He also, at this point, carried multiple blessings, things he never expected to get, as he did not think the gods payed much mind to mortals. On one antler a white and black feather from his patron deity obtained after refusing to extend his life by drinking from the waters offered by the deity of life. During the funeral service for Alli, the god of death blessed Saph with resistance to necrotic damage, the mark a constellation of stars on his chest. Seeing the Cervine deity of life was a blessing in and of itself, though Saph never felt kinship towards the deity.
