Hey the Humblewood module for DnD 5e is super fun, that's where I played this Paladin of Conquest! A cervine that was kicked out of his swamp village for wanting to write down their oral folktales, Saph as friends call him (Sapphire if you're close *wink*), ended up in a monastery devoted to the God of Fate. He ended up joining the party a few sessions in and replacing a Cervine who had just left. Saph was fun, carefree, and a flirt, life's joys are meant to be shared and experienced as the God of Fate teaches after all. Though he had joined the party's mission of confronting the bandit coalition leader as his sister had lost her husband and the use of her arm in one of their ambushes. He fights with an odd style of dueling, one an old Vulpine taught him, one that belonged to an order of Heron knights long lost to time. Lily stepping it's called, originally done in a pool of lily flowers with the goal of not disturbing the plants, Saph learned in thorny roses where the plants disturb you.
