Nightfox and I went to the doc today to get a cortisone shot against our allergies (hay fever is hitting really bad this year...).
Actually the shot wasn't painful, but afterwards my butt still hurt enough to draw a picture. ;P (just a quick colored sketch though)

Hay fever be gone. >:] (at least for the next weeks)

Well, I don't know about hay fever shots, but in boot camp I got what we called the peanut-butter-shot, which got its name because it left a blob in your backside that felt like peanut butter when you rubbed it.

Bah, last shot I had was for flu...right into my arm muscle...hurt like hell, and the nurse blamed ME for it hurting. Said I'd tensed my muscle...when actually it was because she stabbed me with the thing...

Had muscle pains for weeks...:(

Never got the flu though...(Well, until 3 months later...when I got it twice...lol)

when I was a kid and went to the hospital to get two shots of medicines which names I don't even know, the nurse told me "I'll make you two shots - the one will be painful and the other won't". In the end I was like "so, which one was supposed to be painful?" "None" - was the answer " I just tricked you, silly ~.^"

In the thumbnail of this, it looked a hell of a lot like there was a glowstick halfway up this guy's rear. I was relieved to see it was just a syringe, and yet at the same time disappointed that it WASN'T a glowstick.

Be glad it was a syringe filled with medicine. If it were a syringe filled with glowstick, it would be lethal because the chemicals in glowsticks are simply not compatible with the bloodstream.

Now that hurts and at least you only had one but try alergy shots for seven years of my life considering the area we lived in and also even if you get used to it they still hurt like hell at times.
