If she position's her bites just right, she can make sure the crew compartments maintain their integrity for the longest possible time. It is likely they will will make it alive to the large intestine before her bodies natural "compacting" process causes the crew compartments to fail.

Unlike crush depth, the crew in this instance will have plenty of time to comprehend what's happening to them. As they find themselves immersed in the unpleasant warmth they will have enough time to enjoy the sights, smells, feelings and tastes of their final resting place, before they are churned, compacted and crushed or suffocated.

Being able to swallow it whole would greatly increase the submarines chances. I doubt the AIP will function so it's likely they will have to run power off batteries and conserve oxygen. Once they are released there is also the matter of getting off a rescue message.

If her body lets them out of course might have the ability to break down all that metal; I mean she is a macro after all.

That's true, many macros seem to have more powerful digestive processes.

But I kinda like the idea that she's not eating them for nutrition, she's just doing it to because the submarine annoyed her or she's doing it to show off to gain social media clout.

If they survive digestion, if they are found and if they are rescued in time, it will be a very traumatic and humiliating experience for the crew and an embarrassment for the Navy.

Their submarine will require a full yard refit and even then its performance will be permanently changed, probably even affecting its acoustic signature.

All that and she probably won't face any consequences, or at most a light slap on the wrist.

Certainly not the military, unless the plan is to feed her soldiers until she is uncomfortably full. It would have to another Macro with a protective bent.

If you think about it though that's basically what micro militaries already do to defend against macros. They know their weapons are useless, but they are big and loud and full of tasty little soldiers, so hopefully the macro will focus on them and not the civilians.

That's the purpose of a soldier in a micro military to be a macros snack or plaything

In well protected micro nations, the military is probably a respectable profession to most people, like in the US of our world. They probably spend most of their time fighting other micros.

In micro nations that suffer routine macro "incidents" military service would be almost certainly looked down upon and they would be forced to adopt conscription.

Popular culture would routinely mock the military as ineffective and a waste of money. Any guy who couldn't get a college deferment to get out of being drafted would be viewed as a loser and anyone who volunteered would be viewed as some sort of kinky submissive that wants to be eaten/shoved into macro orifices. Women would find anyone in the military pathetic and laughable, Good luck getting laid as a micro soldier.

I could even see a large part of the public in those countries rooting for the macro, following them on social media like some sort of influencer. Any especially narcissistic macro would leverage this to gain followers, focusing on the military, holding contests and live streams.

I'll bet some macros have the in universe equivalent of an onlyfans page and micros being subbed to it.

I could imagine being a micro conscript, watching a Livestream where a macro asks what she should do with the soldiers she brought back from her most recent raid, knowing that it very easily could be me in the palm of her hand facing death, and not being able to help myself as I donate the entirety of my pathetically small paycheck to just to comment "shove them up your ass" 😈

Be suspiciously easy to capture, definitely. But always resist, struggle and squirm. It's more fun for the macro that way
