People say mysterious things are happening around this dark and lonely forest. A very dark and murky place with dangerous creatures lurking. They say that a monster lurks here but you pressed forward without the heed of their warnings.
You stumbled into a large building standing tall in front of you… It is a nice place… But what is it doing here in the middle of this forest you asked yourself. And the creatures that followed you earlier with curiosity had fled and stayed as far away from you as possible. Perhaps they are afraid of this building? Either way, there is no turning back now and you entered the place without hesitation and fear… What could be inside?
Surprisingly, the place is nice and bright. It is warm and you can feel the air blow across your face… A library… A vast one at that. There must be thousands… no… millions of books inside this place. All nicely tucked into their shelves and the hallway goes on and on… Endlessly like there is no end. Is this the place that people fear? You wandered yourself deeper into the library browsing the books…
Suddenly, a white tall cat with a black outfit wandered right in front of you. Humming a tune while swaying his long bushy tail in front of you. His tune interrupted as he nearly bumped right into you.
“Oh, why hello there,” the cat said as he stared at you with his green eyes and glasses.
“My apologies. I wasn’t expecting visitors here. Can I help you, sir?”
The cat was polite to you and welcomed you with open arms. You’re not much of a reader, but you wonder how many books are in this big building. And on top of it all, it looks like he runs this place all by himself. The cat simply laughed as he brushed his short orange hair on his head.
“That’ll be a story for a different time, sir,” he teased. “Hmm, I see… A human? I don’t usually get human visitors here often. Did those people tell you about me?”
The cat leans forward at you and sniffs at your head and then leans back. “Indeed. Though, I am surprised you made it this far on your own. Those creatures that been following you? They’re also afraid of me. This isn’t a normal library here. However, I haven’t introduced myself properly. Please forgive my rudeness. I am Mint Silver. I am the Librarian of this place and you are my special guest, human.”
Mint tipped his glasses and flicked his bushy tail at his shelf. He wrapped a book around with it and pulled it out of the shelf. “Perhaps I may interest you in a story? Not that it matters to me anyway. Either way, you are a visitor here after all. And I hope you accept this. You don’t want me all riled up, don’t you?”
It looks like you have no choice in a manner. You stared at the cat with a nervous expression as he rubbed your cheek with those claws. He could scratch you anytime, but you immediately nodded and accepted the invitation. Mint then smiled.
“Good, I’m glad you understand the situation that you’re in, little one. For a human, you are an obedient little thing. I would hate to do something a little drastic towards you.”
Mint gave you a toothy grin, flicked the book in the air with his tail, and caught it with his hand.
Suddenly, the bushy tail swarmed around you and wrapped around you like a warm embrace. The tail easily lifted you in the air, bringing you closer to his hips. “There we go, human. Now that wasn’t so hard. There is someplace I want you to see. Oh, and by the way, you are not leaving this place. And I mean… not ever. So you can forget about your life back at home. From now on, your story belongs with me now.”
Mint didn’t give you a moment to react until you were being dragged around by that enormous tail as he wandered himself out of the hall. You try to pry yourself out, but the tail is too strong for you. The library is huge and there are thousands of books all around the place and you have to wonder if other people work there. It’s just this cat... all by himself. Perhaps this is why this place shied away from the creatures outside. You had to question this to Mint. He laughed as he tipped his glasses.
“Of course, I have staff members in this library. It’s just that, we’re supposed to be closed. However, I have such a bad habit of locking this place up. Humans are curious creatures, don’t you agree?”
It’s like he hoped for a human to come into this place. That would explain why he unlocked the door for intruders like you to enter. Mint has been quiet while pulling you with his tail as he looked around his library. He peered over to your eyes and grinned.
“Well, I suppose I should show you a book before I take you to my office. I found this good one. I’m sure you’ll love it just as much as I do. It’s a story about a cat and a mouse. It’s such a wonderful little story. Though I suppose you wanna know what it’s about, do you?”
You paused but nodded in response so you don’t irritate the big cat. He grinned as the tail’s grasp around you got a bit tighter.
“Good. This makes things simpler for me. You see, this mouse was alone in the woods, and it had nowhere to go. He tried calling for help and assistance but nobody came for him. Tragic as that sounds he eventually comes across the cat who is also alone. They eventually bonded and became close friends.
However, one day, the cat was hungry and he went out hunting searching for food. Unfortunately, he was having trouble catching his prey and this is unusual for him. The cat is usually very good at catching his prey but ever since the mouse came to his life, he has had conflicted feelings. When he returned home the mouse was waiting for the cat and wondered what was wrong with his troubled looks… After some time, the mouse finally offered himself as a sacrifice for the cat. Of course, this wasn’t easy for the cat but he eventually accepted this. Thus our tale ends with the cat devouring the mouse.”
Mint slams the book shut and turns his eyes to you as he tips his glasses up to his nose. “Well, I certainly liked that story. You might be wondering what this has to do with my situation right now. It’s simple really. You are the mouse and I’m the cat in this story. Oh, and I would check on those ‘ears’ if I were you.”
Suddenly, you have big round ears over your head and then there are whiskers out of your cheeks…
“This book is certainly useful. Not only is it a story but it transforms anyone into a mouse for anyone who listens to this except for those who read it. Nifty good, don’t you agree?”
You continue to struggle within that tail as you are transforming into an anthropomorphic mouse. You grew a tail, fur, rounder eyes, a twitchy nose, and claws, and your size is slightly smaller even though that you are turning into a mouse. Your senses are stronger though and you can hear things further in the distance thanks to those ears. However, you are still embraced warmly by Mint’s bushy tail. The cat with green eyes watches you slowly transform into a mouse with an amusing expression across his face, feeling satisfied as he drools from his lips. The tail that wraps around you has gotten tighter as well and your transformation has been completed… What an odd story to tell while you are transformed into such a creature. Your human form is gone and you try to pry yourself out of your tail as your new instincts tell you but the cat’s grip is stronger.
“There, that form suits you well. I hope you don’t mind me taking you to my office for lunch. I was getting quite hungry. Oh yes, I do have another mouse at my office too and he met the same fate as you.”
After a long walk across the hallways of the library, he takes you to his quiet office. Inside it is dark room and there’s a green chair by a desk. The room isn’t much and this is a place where Mint concentrates on most of his works. Even though the library is empty he practically lives here. This is Mint’s home and there are also loads of photographs of him and his siblings together. And some unfamiliar faces. A naga, a red squirrel, and a large bird. You are not sure who all of these people are but you stared at those photos with a curious expression. Another interesting thing is there is another mouse trapped inside a glass jar. Luckily there were some air holes on the top for the mouse to breathe but he couldn’t get out. Except that this one is much smaller. Mint turns his head over to you as he places his paw over his desk.
“This is the mouse that I mentioned. Except this one tried to steal something valuable from this place. He has caused quite a disturbance for me and he put up a good fight. But no matter, I was looking for a snack.”
Mint glared down at the helpless mouse inside the jar. The small guy was squeaking and rapidly pushing the glass surface of the jar, hoping to escape. The handsome cat plucked the jar and pulled the cork from the top. The mouse was extremely frantic and squeaking to find a way out. You are forced to watch. Mint picked the mouse out of the jar by the tail, sneered at it, and said, “Farewell.” And just like that, the mouse was swallowed whole with a big wet gulp. The frantic squeaks were no more and there was silence. It’s just you and him in his office now…
“Mmm~ A little sweet but very good.” Mint grabbed a handkerchief out of his box and wiped his lips to clean himself. The librarian cat smirked and felt the squirming mouse slide down from his throat and into his belly with ease. He turned his attention towards you as you were forced to watch him eat that smaller mouse.
“That takes care of that troublesome. Now, it is your turn and it is lunch. But don’t worry, your place here will be permanent.”
He brings you closer and lifts you up with his strong bushy tail and nuzzles you in the cheek.
“Oh and I will not be shrinking you but don’t worry, I will not chew you. That would be impolite of me and it would be too messy for my suit. I still have some work to do before the library opens tomorrow so I think you’ll do quite nicely. But don’t worry, this experience for you will not be unpleasant… Well then, it’s lunchtime, my little friend. Farewell.”
With that said, Mint opens up his jaws in front of you and starts devouring your head first. Everything went dark and wet around the ears for you. The wet tongue assaults your face and cheeks as you are slowly being swallowed alive by the cat. Your whiskers twitch and you start to squeak for help but they echo down the throat of the cat. Mint lifts your body up with his tail and started gulping your shoulders and arms as your pudgy-like hips and tail are hanging out from his lips. You can hear his thunderous purrs vibrate around your round ears as you try to fight this by kicking your feet. Your squeaks were getting more muffled as the tall cat eagerly kept on gulping you down. The throat muscles around your body is pushing you down with ease as your tail is left hanging from the lips. Mint slurped up that tail like a big wet noodle and made a final swallow with a ‘GLRK’ until his belly bulged out.
“Ahhh~ That was satisfying.”
You hear his voice echo as you are forced to curl up inside his stomach. The smaller mouse next to you is very frantic as well. You push the walls and try to claw yourself out but they’re too strong for you. Mint unzipped his suit from the bottom until his belly was exposed and pushed outwards with a large bulge. You felt this shift as you knocked over your head.
“There we go. That’s much better for me. Try not to make a fuss in there. You’ll digest there much quicker if you do so. But I suppose you can thrash in there all you want. They always put up a fight before they become… pudge for me. Thank you for delivering yourself to me.”
You felt the pats and the rubbing over you, feeling humiliated that you were nothing but food for this cat. You should’ve heeded the warnings of those villagers and the creatures that were avoiding the library like a plague but your curiosity has you ended up in the belly of this cat. Inside it is getting much more humid, and the walls clench both you and the smaller mouse over your shoulder. You can feel the ominous gurgling of the stomach, digestive juices clinging to your fur, and the groaning filling your ears. You try to keep fighting even though Mint told you that it only makes the digestion quicker but your instincts say otherwise… Your struggles and wiggling are getting much weaker and your eyes are getting heavier to open. You try to stay conscious but the stomach is overwhelming you along with the small mouse. Mint kept on rubbing and kneading his belly over you.
Mint sighed with a satisfying expression and he kicked back on his desk and leaned back on his chair with his squirming belly exposed. Mint pats his tummy as he licked his lips, getting the last of your remnants.
“Do be a good mouse and settle yourself in there. I don’t like to make this harder for you. This is just the way things are. Your role as a mouse has been fulfilled just like in that book. You have the greatest role yet. If you were here in a much better time, perhaps you and I could’ve been great friends. Oh well, it doesn’t matter. Hmm~ Next time when I have a human, I think I’ll have someone who’s a noble or perhaps a sweet gentleman.” The belly suddenly stopped squirming and wiggling…
“Oh~ Well I guess you can’t hear me anymore. All I can say is… You were very delicious and I think you are… satisfying.”
Mint grabbed his handkerchief and wiped his lips again as he patted his pudge belly. That is you now and all that is left is nothing but patting for the librarian cat. Your role has been fulfilled indeed and what a humiliating way to go for you… The cat with green eyes snickered and swayed his bushy tail.
“I suppose I should get this weight off of me. They all ended up straight to my tail or hips. Either way, I need to get all that weight off of me.”
__________
Mint pats his tummy and that next day you ended up making his bushy tail stronger than ever before. The library is much more livelier and the creatures/animals that had been following you were welcomed with open arms. However, one anthro squirrel accidentally made a disturbance sound from his phone. Mint loomed over and showed the same book as he did to you…

Ooooh! I've never seen Mint in your art and stories in a long time, I loved that Mint got his time in the limelight! This story was wonderful to read, especially with your amazingly descriptive details with those small pieces of characterization for him! Plus, I also fell in love with how you illustrated the Cat-Dragon in his anthropomorphic form, looking very much like the worlds most dangerous scholar! You're such an awesome artist and writer and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your amazing content in the future! Keep doing great!
It seems like your cat dragons are constantly turning their latest victims into mice true rodents are a favourite prey for a lot of cats but it’d be nice to see them turn their victims into a wider variety of prey animals while keeping their cat prey like say a chicken or a bird with clipped wings
