Very insightful. Unfortunately in this story, both of the main bosses prefer to coerce those to be heroes of their own vision than their own path.

I know that like... my own character has power. But no desire to use them to dominate others or to be a force for justice. Would that just be a waste? Would someone try to force him on side of the scale or the other?

All depends on the individual and what they want. I remember in the Spider-Man 2 Insomniac game, Mysterio used his technical abilities of illusions to create a hi-tech funhouse. Meanwhile, Tombstone just ran the carnival rides.

Seems like Josh skepticism has been ebbed a bit since then. Veda may have Josh on his side of the board though not fully in his control.

Josh showed enough mental willpower to break free of most of Buns symbiote control. As for emotional willpower over Buns' manipulation, is another story.

I adore this ending! Josh seems so happy. So content. I love his final line about having a life and something worth fighting for. Such a giant difference from the start of the comic where he was broken and angry.

I know a lot of people will complain about Buns' methods, but is he really any worse than what the heroes did to Josh before? Making him fight his best friend? Having him kidnapped and tortured?

Yes, having a symbiote inside influencing things doesn't help the situation. But to me, both sides have huge negatives. Regardless, Buns' enforcers have the better looking uniforms.

The 5 years watching this chapter well spent, it started as a nightmare for Josh (aka Frostbite/02), had twists and turns along the way and now ends in a happy ending for him... Or what it appears to be. Who knows if this happy ending for Josh and Holt is just one of Buns' manipulation games?

When someone keeps their guard up for so long, they forget what it is like to be free. Josh looks so happy, so free. Josh has been Frostbite for so long he never had the time to be himself. Always putting everything and everyone first above his well being. Now Josh can finally kick back and rest knowing that the city is under the protection of the Guardians and with Holt leading them the city couldn't be in safer hands. I don't know how long this quiet time will last so it's good to enjoy it while you have it. Considering the line of work Josh is in it's definitely a rarity that he would have it. Wildfire looks so cool flying like that with the Guardians by his side in their motorcycles. I just hope whatever comes their way Wildfire and The Guardians will prevail.

Congratulations Rubberbuns! It took a long time to get here but you did it. Convergence is an amazing comic and I loved it. Ever since you started your comics I watched you improve over time. Between all the pages you drawn you did a great job. Your hard work has definitely paid off. Keep on progressing to greater heights. I'm glad to see Josh happy. I wish I thought that it will last. Even if we take a step back from him, he's too caught up in everything going on to not be affected when things get rough.

right now he is literaly free, he's decided to make a step aside from everything!

It's good to see Josh so relaxed and happy. With all the things he went through and all the pressure he had on him, it is quite the change. And though i'm certain that it is a trap of some kind from our dear Buns, I don't think it's the kind of trap Josh thinks of. Our dear bear is a mastermind who is facing all the heroes now, so I'm sure all is carefully considered before any actions are taken and now Josh is part of that big master plan. The question is where things will go from here and how willingly Josh will play his part in it. Nice end to the chapter and it has been a joy to read.

I think Josh is in a good spot now. He wont be forced to be a hero anymore

Don’t know about this ending so like me personally. I kinda like the eleven more in terms that they don’t brainwash you int submitting with strange Kate’s things. It’s still hot as both sides are wrong but in terms of morally wrong I feel buns is more wrong but more effective in of course te brainwashing. The leave is still heroes who save the day and rent villains unlike buns even tho now we know hat he wasn’t truly the one in control die to later post, overall I hope they get free if the symbioted soon.
