Dinosapiens
1-A comet from the times of the dinosaurs and a wish from a child marked the end of humanity and even animal and plant life as we knew it.
It was quite an innocent wish really, she wished for dinosaurs to return to earth, and since she changed and her parents did too, she wished this for the rest of us.
2-She flew up high, testing her new wings, her vision could see a mouse from miles away, and as she flew higher and higher she saw what was happening to the people below.
3-First, the grass grew taller, much taller, and the trees became broader and much bigger, as if the world was preparing for what would happen next, the whole thing was happening in minutes and nature was invading and breaking through concrete and manmade structures
There was chaos and traffic jams, then people started to change, one by one, in singular cases.
4-For instance, a woman was at a supermarket buying groceries, she felt a sudden, clawing hunger and felt attraction to the meat section, when she unwrapped and devoured raw meat, all the while her teeth grew pointy, and she developed the snout of a predator.
5- She kept on changing and devouring meat while parts of her body were transforming into a Utah raptor.
6-Grace saw this as she was close to the supermarket and felt a connection with the woman.
The police officers of the supermarket draw their guns at the changing woman, Grace closed her eyes, wishing her to be fine.
7-The police officers dropped their weapons, because they too were affected by Grace’s wish, and their hands lost digits and dexterity. They were changing into raptors of some sort;
8-their clothing was ripping apart, and they grew a tail. (Mid tf for The police officers)
9- Soon after the woman Utah raptor finished with her changes and even as she was mostly dinosaur, she still resembled a part human being, much to Grace’s delight. (From 75 to 100 transformation, She becomes a hunanoid Utah raptor)
10-Soon after the policemen resembled other types of raptors and joined her, sacking the meat department. (75 to 100 transformation for them, also humanoid raptors)
The rest of the supermarket people fled upon watching the horrid, unexplainable scene.
11-But Grace’s wish kept on spreading and spreading, in other cities and in other countries people changed into humanoid dinosaurs of different species, for instance in London people jumped into the Tamesis for no reason, only changing then into large, humanoid fish, not unlike mermaids and mermen but with stranger prehistoric variants. (Some coelacanth and other prehistoric fishies, Two men are shown changing)
12-Some of them became larger and menacing, like Mosasaur (a man)
13- and plesiosaur, ( a woman, see reference)
14-The waters became pristine clean and free of pollutants. Grace could see and feel what people of the planet were going thou as if it she had a connection with all of them, their children so to speak. First their parents, then the grocery store lady and the cops and now these ones.
15-At Graces school the changes were massive, the children were transforming into small dinosaurs. Like Gallimimus
16-and some, like Graces best friends, were becoming flying humanoid dinos, pterosaurs and other prehistoric birds. (Show 3 10 year old girls transforming)
17-Her best friend was washing her teeth at the time, she saw in the mirror how her teeth elongated and merged out of her mouth, into quite a large beak.
Talking was painful at first and she was scared but Grace entered the window and comforted her.
18-Her fingers and arms were becoming large wings while her legs were becoming short. Grace was happy she would have a friend that could fly like her.
Both girls flew out the window and were joined by others who became flyers as well, into a large flock.
19-If one was getting to see the world through space, it was getting greener and greener, within days the few forests and jungles tripled in size, while deserts were turning into savannahs.
20-People kept on changing of course, there were isolated cases in almost every mayor city in the world. (Show one shots of people in mid tf into dimetrodon, apatosaurus and The like in different settings)
21-Humans didn’t knew how to react, or I must say they were globally scared, not knowing who would change next.
Families were split apart, The Dino sapiens, the new creatures, lost their jobs, their human lives, eveything that was nice.
22-Unable to change her original wish, Grace one day decided to explain things to humanity on live TV.
More people would change, but not all, they should not reject those already transformed but welcome them as they were, as moms and dads, as brothers and sisters or even their own children.
23-And as more and more people transformed over the course of days and entire families became Dino sapiens things started to change for the better. (More tfs, This Time in family groups)
24-Humans were becoming accustomed to The Dino sapiens, who were seen as variants of humanity, only With special characteristics, like The ability to live underwater or in the sky, to predate and eat lots of meat or eat from The gigantic trees and foliage.
25-Predators were intelligent, they meant no harm to people or other dino sapiens, now even animals were larger and much more numerous. Predators enjoyed getting their meat The old fashioned way.
Herbivore dino sapiens were also abundant, their instincts lead some to consume larger amounts of plants a day.
26-One could tell that Dino sapiens were very much like people closer to a primitive state of nature. They didn’t had to work or go to school most of The day as they had to applease their Dino urges but they were quite efficient workers and students, for they tend to be physically superior to humans.
27-Their intellect is also quite high, as their brains function differently from humans because their brains cells keep on reproducing all their extended lifespans, some Dino sapiens enjoy a form of telepathy.
28-Some humans willingly desired to change and they did, Grace’s wish affected millions within The first five years.
Societies of Dino sapiens emerged, where humans were a minority or unexistant. The same could be told of pure human societies.
29-Grace and humanity kept on learning new things about the Dino sapiens by the day. One day when Grace was 15 her mom and dad surprised her, her mother was pregnant.
Even as their parents are not The same Dino species technically it doesn’t matter. All Dino sapiens are one race.
30-Her mom Made a nest, within a few weeks She laid four healthy eggs.
Whetever they would be boys or girls It would be a surprise, Grace felt grateful.
31-Around the time Grace became a young adult her wish subsided as she gained maturity.
Once she meant no harm with her wish, now She knew It was not a wish meant for everyone.
32-As She was connected to The lives of the dino sapiens but not all at the same Time she could reflect on What She did, She changes lives, so many lives, for The worse and the Better, and She learned from wars and hatred from human history.
It was lucky no dinosapiens endured that…much, at least, not for now, but humans, are they trustworthy?
33-Can She swear all dino sapiens Will behave and never do something radically stupid?
