I forgot to specify in the ref but he can be planti or digi, whichever would be more fun to draw. But yeah, new fursona just dropped. Sort of. He's me but he's also a whole entire character with his own world and lore lol.
Nate is just some guy. At 25 he's kinda quiet and boring; Decently able to hold a conversation, but insists he prefers his own company. There's no social rejection when you're alone in the woods. He's lived in the Appalachians his whole life and would probably freak out if he was in a place that didn't have mountains visible in every direction. Was always in the woods as a kit but spent all his teen and young adulthood years inside and on the internet. Trying to log the fuck off and re-connect with nature, will identify the species in pics you send even if no one asked.
Technically the lead singer in a band, but he cant seem to get everyone together to practice very often... At least he still has karaoke!

the aesthetic is something vivid and nostalgic in my mind. very directly lifted from my dad's side of the family and spending time with them. its like, that aesthetic, but grown up. like i could continue aging but the world around my stayed the same, or going back to that time frame as the adult i am now, or perhaps just staying in that area with them instead of moving away. i grew up at an odd intersection of being in pennsylvania but in some little crevice that related more to southern appalachians than the northeast culture im in now (despite me being geographically more south than where i grew up.) but aside from that deep shit its also just "what if a nature nerd was also a hot loser who enjoyed the simple things in life"
