I never thought I'd be in this position, but my family and I are facing a serious crisis, and we need your help. The image I've attached says it all—I’m at risk of losing my home, and time is running out.

Over the past year, life has thrown us one curveball after another. My mom had a severe stroke, and we’ve been struggling ever since. Just when we thought things couldn't get worse, my SSI payments were suddenly stopped after 30 years of reliable support. We're scrambling to make ends meet, and then our truck broke down just as we were about to start door-dashing to bring in some income. To top it off, my husband Mike, who has neuropathy, suffered a severe foot burn that cost him his job delivering newspapers.

Thanks to some incredibly kind folks, we've managed to fix the truck and get it gassed up, but we're still struggling to cover the rent and keep our home. Mike’s background check for DoorDash is taking longer than expected, and every day of delay puts us closer to eviction.
