I wish I had some suggestions. I still haven't figured out how to keep mine from going derp. Mine seems to want to derp out if I tie it super tight or if I start getting really hot. I constantly have to keep adjusting it whenever I get really hot cause it wants to just keep sliding down or off my chin. I know Beastcub had told me I need to pad the jaw with foamy sheets but I am still at a loss as to how I pad it correctly without messing it up.
if either of you plan to go to FC track me down and I will get the custom fit perfect for ya :3
I do note on my site that the fully articulated jaws are fussy, and w/out the person sitting in front of me it is impossible for me to get the fit perfect because the shape of every ones chin (including the indent under the lip) is different and even a dummy of ones head cannot capture this (namely that indent under the chin)'
though if sweat is the main issue try gluing on a piece of fabric, namley a piece of cotton T shirt (the sleeve edge is good, its thicker) I found that helped one customer

Very true on that super glue issue. I hadn't thought about that but super glue does tend to get really hard after it dries and I can imagine that being pretty uncomfortable rubbing against your chin. I'm sure I have an old t-shirt that I can sacrifice to try this out with and I have plenty of glue sticks. I don't seem to have the issue that woger is having with turning the head and it causing it to go derp. I've had that happen before if I have the jaw strapped too tightly around my head. Then sometimes if I turn my head it will make my jaw go a bit derpy but once I turn my head back normally it goes away. Thanks so much for taking the time to address our issues we've been having. Mine really only seems to have an issue if I get very hot, but I am willing to try what you suggested. :)

Sweat has been less of problem, so yay. For now the main problem is that when the head turns the jaw doesn't follow, or when it follows it doesn't return to it's original spot. If you have any suggestions on that smallish problem, do advise. If not, I'll have to find you at FC if I can make it next year =3
o__O
How the crap are you managaging that XD
I mean your chin and head on your human body are connected right, so the fursuit parts should not be moving seperate when you turn.
Is the head too loose maybe? Which part is actually moving when your head turns?
atm the only other idea I have is to tie an elastic strap to the chin strap that then goes over your head. I did this for support on the bear since he had a heavy jaw set, there was a single strap over the top of the skull which ended in a Y shape before reaching the chin strap and the ends of the Y were tied on either side of the ear.
