This is a story I wrote up as part of the contest going on for the month of May at the
Riolu_Lucario_Club. Further details can be found over there.
Legal stuff: All of the characters mentioned herein are property of the Pokémon franchise, save for the cameo appearance of Geoson. That character belongs to
geoson and is part of a set-up for a later segment involving his character that he has asked me to do.
Also, my version of Lucario has the ability to remove his chest and paw spikes. It makes it less lethal when he's just training. He has so removed said spikes beforehand, thus why they don't get a mention at all.

In addition, this is the 2nd story I've put up that has featured the younger Riolu in it. Not to be confused with the Riolu referee that was in Lucario's Beach Wrestling. That one was just an adult version of Riolu that never evolved into a Lucario.
