I tried a blending method with rubbing alcohol and water, but it made my second layer harden weirdly fast and I couldn't layer more or blend afterwards - that's why the sky and ocean look so off. The blending also made the sky blue go a bit neon.
I think last weeks was better, but I am starting to shade more. Plus, I think, at the very least, I'm getting the heads looking decently realistic.

Not too knowledgeable on how a blending method like what you mentioned would go, but definitely use a darker shade of blue (perhaps, combined with another darker color, like green?) for the ocean on the next go. It's hard to fully tell where the sea and the sky meet in that horizon...
Aside from that, pretty good post. The coat on this lupine looks particularly great! ^^
