BREAKOUT - Next planned project
Just gotta say that I’m SUPER happy about the responses to Partywipe. Felt great seeing everyone being blown away by that. Thank you all so much!

That said, I figure it’s worthwhile bringing up something I’ve got planned next. I’m titling this project as “Breakout”
Progress on this started almost immediately after I finished work on my Alex 2.0 rig, which I teased previously here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/54340480/
This was supposed to be his “big reveal”, however, I kinda wound up INCREDIBLY side tracked with partywipe, which as admittedly more of a spontaneous inspired project than anything genuinely concrete. But it did serve on particular purpose well though, which was to be a trailblazer experience; testing to see what the creative resources at my disposal were capable of.
I had learned a lot from Partywipe, what works, what doesn’t, what issues to expect and how to avoid them. So it only makes sense that I take the next step!

Breakout is taking inspiration from Jurassic park, featuring Alex and
fatescanner, playing the roles of T-Rex and park ranger respectively. Fates gonna be in a bit of trouble when he has to make a stop in the middle of a brewing storm, while a pair of hungry eyes watches from just behind that supposedly secure permitter fence
Can’t quite say if there’s a timeline for it, as this animation will call for a number of complicated visuals, all of which I’ll need to figure out and test, but here’s hoping it culminates into some top notch Dino noms!

I typically start with a blockout, as if modelling with clay, using spheres to create the rough shape I’m going for (usually with an image imported onto a flat plane for reference). Once I got a base shape, I use retopology to draw a new mesh over the block-out, which I will use going forward as I proceed with the model
I primarily work within Maya, using redshift as my render engine of choice. Helps to have some know-how of using lights to capture certain effects. For instance, using rimlights to create a sort of “outline” of the character in applicable situations. Helps make desired details pop more!
This is just already amazing to see! I've already loved your previous animations in the past, especially with Partywipe! Now, I am super freaking excited to see so much more of this potentially awesome project as it continues to develop in the near future! You're a brilliant artist and animator and again, I am so stoked to seeing more of this and more of your awesome works down the road! Keep doing great and have a Wonderful (late) Vore Day!
