This one was a father's day picture.

Despite having raised his younger sibling, and by this point being a father of two, Oliver was nervous when he and Apple adopted the young dragon the two would name Cherry. Cherry had hatched only recently, and she had nearly died when Idelia's battle with her parent damaged her shell. Her other birth parent gave up their life to heal the damage and allow her to be born proper, and although she hadn't been developed enough to have proper memories of the event, she still suffers from anxiety and night terrors.

Ollie wanted nothing more than to protect his little girl, and keep her happy and safe. Despite knowing that he and Apple could do a good job, he's still a worry-wort.

When Cherry was a baby, she'd hug his tail in her sleep. It was one of the few things that helped soothe her night terrors. Ollie stayed up a lot of late nights making sure she was comfortable. He loves her dearly, and always wants what's best for her.
