"Meet Murdoc, a satanist who lived in an abusive relationship with his father and dreamed of being a musician. After selling his soul to the devil and receiving a bass known as "El Diablo," Murdoc leaves home and sets off to form a new band. Along the way, he recruits 2-D, a talented singer who Murdoc accidentally crashes his car into, Russel, a drummer who was possessed by the ghost of his rapper friend, Del, and Noodle, a young girl from Japan who was dropped off at the studio in a crate and is a skilled guitarist. Together, they form a new band called "Gorillaz" and set off to become the greatest music group of all time.
