Four numen of pretty big importance, as designing characters can be hard, especially when they have historical influences, these designs can be considered beta designs, i'll end up refining them in the future.
From left to right
The large female wolf is a yet to be named Numen who is particularly popular amongst wilder and more violent pagans, the reason is simple, she's actually not that tough to gain boobs from, statistically speaking when compared to other Numen. Her followers are mainly found out in the Old World or in Wayfarer frontiers. They like to hunt, a lot (including hunting people). Her specialized warriors are known for also having a tendency to not die, even if their head isn't fully attached. Note, she does not actively lead any of these factions, her boons mainly manifest in supernatural strengths and durability.
The young boy is somewhat meta as he is an alternate variant of a god-like entity in my other settings, named Valentine. Here however, his lore is somewhat altered. He is seen as a manifestation of freedom itself (the good and bad), so lots of disempowered attempt to contact him, this usually falls upon deaf ears as if anyone will manage to make contact with him, it's because he wills it. In this setting, he does not have an established faction, so he is mainly worshipped by scattered and varied pagan clans. His manifestation as a young boy does not represent his actual age and it's said that his true form may just be that of a high ranking inquisitor within Vivanian society, allegedly.
The owl is a man referred to as "The One Who Was" (no relation) by those who are aware of him outside of stories. His true name, which was revealed to Royce (depicted in previous art) is Kalgys. He is not worshipped by many and he does not grant boons to anyone. The only time someone will see him is if they catch his interest, or if he has to interfere in matters. Lastly, he has huge meta importance, but i won't elaborate because it's fun to imagine what it might mean.
Last but not least, the smug man is "The Muse", a numen with appreciation for great stories, wether written fiction or actual history. He is the "patron" of a yet to be depicted character, Elise, a former child star (or historical equivalent to one) who had her entire way of life crumble during the time of plague in the past. As she grew up to become a young woman, she desperately managed to contact The Muse. In the "present", he is one of the few numen who actively resides in the primary plane, under the guise of Elise's partner in business, although he stays far from inquisitors.
As for ranking the characters based on malevolence. The female wolf would be at the top, as she basically wants to watch people and things die (and partake). Valentine comes second, mainly due to his apathy to suffering, if someone catches his attention, he will gladly empower them, no matter if they will use it for good or bad. After that comes The Muse, while apathetic similarly to Valentine, he does not empower people as often, in fact, he has a tendency to act as a "patron" for a single person, in this case, Elise, someone who does not kill often. Lastly, Kalgys, he just wants to chill.
