Aright, people...I've been pretty inactive these weeks... And the unioversity is to blame for dat.. :P I had to make mah way through essays, tests, exams and the biggest foe of them all: the thesis. :P Took my some time. I have just arrived from London again, and the lil journey gave me some time to sketch up the panels of page 17. And here it is....
Not a big deal, I just took a lil journey in Bardock's mind :) For those who dun' have a clue what the hell teen Gohan, Cell, and Goku are doin' there, here's a recap of the original Bardock story: In the movie, Bardock was "cursed" and he attained the ability to see bits and pieces of the future. He cannot control this ability, it just bursts out randomly, especially when he is rather emotional; mad, angry, exhausted, etc.. At this point - in my comic - he alredy saw bits of Goku's early years and how he grew up, so he knows what sorta clothes he's wearing, etc... That's why he seems to recognize him (bottom right panel), but he cannot interpret his blonde hair and blue eyes. :) Not to mention Gohan and Cell... He does not have a clue that it is his own grandson he is looking at. Well, this soldier got to kick Bardock's stomach, and that unexpected hit caused him to have this vision... Only problem with that is that he is rather helpless when he has these visions of the future :P (Just have a look at the movie)... Yeah well.. so much for that.
I had great fun doing Gohan and Cell, since they have absolutely nothing to do with my storyline :) So it was kinda nice to be a bit different this time... Anyways, I liked sketching it, that is all that matters to me :P
