Finally finished the main meat of this a time ago. Took way longer than it needed to and there's still more work to do. Still feel like there's a lot to fix on the readability/ AO shading baked into the sprite. Yet to do individual to this is an attempt to hand render a normal map (while avoiding the soft shadows of HD-2D). Feel like I've captured lighting in a bottle getting this far tbh, trying to make more sprites for him already and it's quite difficult.
