Two years ago I drew Kitty Softpaws just one day after the first trailer for Puss in Boots: The Last Wish came out.
It didn't take long for me to think it wasn't very good. Though I was happy with it at the time, because I had always wanted to draw her, so when I finally could, no matter how botched she looked, I was happy.
Now, that I've been honing my skills more and more, I feel more confident in doing poses that 2022 me would be terrified of. Not that I'm great or anything, I still have a lot to learn, but I'm always striving for improvement. For this reason, this redraw is very important to me. It shows that these years of drawing have not been for nothing.
