Funny how that goes, but the shark thing I've noticed more lately after they got more popularized by some artists. Course, punk/biker themes seem to be doing strong to!

Since I'm an avatar whore in SL, sometimes I'll toss on random ones to just see the responses one get. Certain species doing vastly better no matter the outfit, even going out of your way to make it fugly sometimes.

Hah, yeah there aren't any right now but if a popular artist did strike one up if they got popular or not would depend on how much fanfare they put out with it. They had a party, tossed some waves to the people in one, and some art around and woosh. You'd probably have a lil horde. Just put it out and let it sit they'd probably just simmer then fizzle. Then some will just never fly... like the sea cucumber.....

I think if there was a "better" orca/dolphin for people to use like with good detail and style sense(like derp or even avinity) I think you'd see people wearing them. To be honest I hope someone does because then maybe there wont be abillion fucking huskies everywhere. >:V

but i agree fully, if one of the major groups pick up on that, then it could work out.
i think its just the problem that they dont know how to make it look nice or eventually that the target base is too small.

for the design part, i wouldnt know how to make it work - shark kinda worked - dolphin prolyl the same way.
just with the rather bulky/beefy orcas i wouldnt be too sure.

I think that is a problem too, the fact that orcas need to be buff is like a fox needs to be girly. I think someone should just make a dolphin orca av with just a base form in mind liek how avinity does, so people can shape and mod them the way they want them. c:
