Hey there!
I have indeed been gone a while, but no matter I am here once again!
I would go into many details as to why but it can all be summed up into a single term - life.
That's literally it, however even though I haven't uploaded in a bit I do have a series of drawings I'd like to release that I have been doing and how I finally have gotten around to uploading them. This being the first!
Alright here we go....
I love breakfast, it's my most favorite meal of the day. Waking up from a comfy bed, going for a walk, and seeing the slightly dim sky and a nice cool temperature makes it a wonderful time to be awake.
Plus breakfast can be anything you want it to be. Last night's leftovers? The stored away burrito from a previous take out you didnt finish? A hearty bowl of cereal? Or even a big glass of fruit smoothie with protein powder, not that I've been bulking for working out I just love the taste of it XD
At the time of this drawing, I was on a steady course where those Sausage Egg McMuffins were my morning food item of choice. They are addicting to me. I love the texture of the egg and muffin and the taste of the highly processed sausage all with a slice of American cheese. And a nice cup of iced coffee does
Every day for a solid month the 2 for 4 special met my eyes perfectly upon arriving at my nearest Golden Arches, and the 2 Sausage Egg McMuffins met my mouf wonderfully and arrived at my belly haha.
I realize I sound like an advertisement, but I really really love English Muffin breakfast sandwiches. Besides sausage egg burritos or chorizo egg burritos, they are a contender for the top 1 spot. I have made them at home by buying the ingredients individually and it's been a great run!
However my affinity for Waffle House has now made me crave their hashbrown egg and sausage/cheese bowls so I've been addicted to making those now ( My canine taste buds yearn for sausage, egg and cheese XD )
If I had the money I would always go and drive to get my English Muffin treats and get a ton of them. But alas, the wallet is finite and so is my time.
Reede would happily devour any amount of food you toss at him, so be weary if you take him to a restaurant haha.

You make me miss Whataburger's biscuits ahh, those are good too. Since I never go to McD I've never had their McMuffin. Actually I haven't had any muffin in years, now you have inspired me to fix that but it will be homemade [seems like Reede lapped them all up lol jk].

Give Reede a couple days and he would single handedly clear out a store of their muffins haha.
Whataburger has been good the four times I've been there in my life but at 1 AM the buns for the burger were rock SOLID like I've never had that experience before XD
Cooking is fun and you get to make as many muffin sammiches as you want!

Don't be so sure, these days it seems they don't keep very much in stock so he miiiight finish it in only a day haha. As an ubereats driver I've lost count how many times I go pick something up only for them to say "oh we don't have anymore tacos, fries, onions, or whatever. Like dang, it was not this way before.
I have found that with fast food locations vary widely in terms of service and food. Maybe you had the unfortunate case of having your food prepared by the new kid haha.
To my delightlful shock my mom made me breakfast muffins the next day after making the comment. How did she know?! xD Ah it was good to eat them again.

Aww man I'd hate to be that customer at home drooling on their phone over a ubereats order they are excited to receive only to be told over the phone that their meal of the gods isn't available haha.
It's like looking forward to food in the fridge when away from home only to open that door and someone else ate it when you were gone. Not fun.
Hope they didn't get mad at you when you tell them, it's not your fault!

These days I'd recommend calling first before ordering, sad state of affairs.
I have a corner of the fridge and pantry that no one is allowed to take from to avoid that situation haha.
Speaking of which, I hope you took advantage of National Cheeseburger Day this past Sep 18! I was sad that Whataburger had no deals, just enter in a "win free burgers for a year" comp.
No way, although mom's do have a innate ability to know things I hiiiighly doubt [thankfully!] this is one of them!
And the great thing is they are good savory or sweet or a mix of both! [I just life how a little jelly balances out the saltiness of savory ingredients, I know it sounds weird until you try it].

I'll have to implement an iris scanner, fingerprint scanner, and a prick of blood so the fridge would only reveal it's artery clogging contents to me XD
Yeah I didn't even know that was a thing, but I'm setting an alarm for next year so I can clear out all the Golden Arches in my county of their yummy cheeseburgers haha.
I feel like within a month or two, whoever gave Reede that year burger pass would be in awe at how fast their inventory would deplete XD
Haha then she hangs up all of your drawings on the living room wall and in the kitchen, where they are just printed out photos onto paper from the family printer haha!
I wish so so so much I could stretch the jelly between two hamburger buns to the extent shown in the episode! I do sometimes make jelly sandwiches using burger buns, so I just need to add the meat next go around ha. Good taste in cartoons!!
