"One of the most common creatures that we've run across in our journey through this strange world, seems to be this fox-like creature. It is relatively harmless, friendly even, and clearly did not object to my drawing of it. Despite it looking like a mix of rabbit, deer, and fox, we dubbed it Veneficus vulpes. The 'mask' seems to be exposed bone, with features carved upon it. We have yet to observe this creature eat or open its eyes, but as we continue our work in the land of Mythos, I eagerly await the chance we do."
Tried to doodle some of the non-sapient creatures you find in the stories I come up with. I need old 1800's textbooks to do a proper diagram though, that'd be pretty snazzy. Pretty pleased with this guy though, except for the hooves not matching up. Bah!
