My own Synth design, Kenaysa (=
Kenasya (Ken-ay-she'a) - prefers she/her
Gets called "Keys" or "Keesh" by friends and coworkers.
Irish accent? (not sure what native accents exist in this one's world)
large-ish frame with two sets of arms, one for power, one for detail.
200cm? 215cm?
68 years old.
Engineer
Dual-Mode, with matching dual-personality, but still counts herself as an individual person.
Chose to have a second set of arms installed at 28, along with a second set of telescopic optics for the small details, so she could do all of the work associated with her career without having to swap parts daily.
The second personality eventually developed on her own as she frequently treated both her modes as separate parts of herself, aided by the life-long habit of asking herself questions when working on a particularly difficult problem.
Her eyes can swap screens as one mode takes over the main brain when doing tasks (Detail Mode has the ring around the iris, Power Mode has the stand-alone iris).
The other mode gets loaded to the reserve processor, so her over-all intelligence of that mode drops markably. She's been suggested to prevent this by having a second brain installed, but that would require more space, and she doesn't want to let her job give her a big head. Besides, she finds it amusing, and it makes conversations more fun. Both of her agree.
It's been 40 years, and she can no longer remember which is her original mode, and she's not really bothered by this.
Both modes talk with the same voice. If she starts talking out loud, she'll have whole conversations with herself, which can get potentially confusing or disorienting for anyone in vicinity.
With the fact that both modes can interact with the world at the same time, other individuals having a conversation with her can eventually get confused about who's talking to who in the moment, as she'll end up talking to herself as often as she does to them.
Anyone who gets to know her well, might learn to pick up on the subtle tone and personality shifts as one mode talks instead of the other, and tell which one's on the reserve processor at the time.Synths created by Vader-San
