Ah, but the square cube law makes that really interesting... 1.25x height = 2x weight, 2x height = 8x weight (all while staying the same thickness). Goes outta control really fast, but that's what makes it fun.
You can visualize this easily too. The possum looks like her whole body would fit inside the roo's tail with how big it is; and the thinner roo's body is just as wide as the shorter possum's. It takes a *lot* of effort to outweigh a bigger critter.
