Fennekin Is My Part Time Mom!
Meet Lynn, a nonbinary child that goes to school with their fennekin Fenny. Lynn’s mother Clover works at the Kalos power plant night shifts so usually when Lynn gets home from school their mother is fast asleep. Lynn can technically do many things, but Fenny uses their unique power to help Lynn in times of need by head swapping with their sleeping mother. Fenny loves helping Clover keep up and especially their trainer Lynn as they sometimes need love and attention of a parent. Being different from other school students doesn’t help sometimes… Lynn and Fenny understand that Clover has to work nights all the time, but it does get hard sometimes for the two but this family of three do their best.
Authors Note: I know this is a project I've talked about for a bit and said I'd do in August and I'm not sure how far I'll go with it tbh as when I writing down an overall comic plot I got overwhelmed by the # of drawings. 😥
Whenever I make projects like this I accidentally give myself anxiety attacks so many not today but maybe in the future. (^u^)
Also, yes that outfit Clover is wearing is inded the one from the anime. I am guilty of trying to find source material stuff whenever I have ideas (^u^).
I like to believe unlike the episode XY062 "The Future Is Now, Thanks to Determination!" there is more than just 3 workers running the power plant. Surely there is evening staff, night staff, relief staff and more.

As for do they know I actually got asked a similar question on another site I posted this so I’ll copy what I said there in full:
In my story boarding I couldn’t decide if she knows or knows something is happening as she wakes up with a clean body, out of uniform and never hungry but thanks Fenny for always being there to help their child. I’d like to lean towards yes (^u^)
also, the story isn’t really the first time either for this swap power so I’d say that factor would also play in and the idea that she always ends up sleeping with the door not fully closed (something that feels like a hint to her knowing or tiredness… who knows (^u^)
