As should.
I have a storyline I keep trying to work on that is effectively similar. Basically, a person gets in a bad accident. This is decades in the future, there's no way to fix the body but the brain and all is still uh... mostly okay. The family has to kinda make choices, because a prosthetic body is going to be needed. A fully adult sized model is... Extremely expensive, there are cheap versions that insurance will cover, but they're basically... Not aesthetically pleasing.
Doctor basically says "What I can do is this.. You can get a child prosthetic for your loved one, I've talked to our mental health department who has agreed to sign off that it would be extremely harmful to mental health.... But they are designed for children, as far as chemical regulation and all goes, so you should expect child like behavior, and for them to need a permanent caregiver"
I keep hesitating on it because I question if it really qualifies as age regression, and also it's a little... uh... heavy in mood
