HTH STUDIOS: TECH DEMO: ULYSSES MARK I: FLIGHT/SYSTEM TEST
PLEASE COMMENT: I would like to know if this is something you would like to see more of. I have many experiments underway.
This is what I do when i can't look at Rio's big bouncy tits anymore. Doesn't happen often...but it does happen.
IN THIS DEMO: I have built a HEAVY MOD to the current HTH2 engine, with the help of some old friends at flashkit.com. The HTH2 Engine will appear integrated with this system in a later tech demo. I have decided to use the HTH2 engine in the development of many future .
I have included a donations link. Donations made to this project also assist HTH2 and RLD. Donations enable me to develop projects like this further into better games. I don't want to sound like i'm begging but this is why i put things like this up. So you can see that there is a lot going on here. I will be releaseing more of what is happening behind the scenes as it comes.
With some major bugs out of the way this is something I am putting out there for you all to play with and get familiar with.
Please note, this is a crappy little ship with no guns and limited range. I will be tinkering with this is the future. There are about 6 adult furry I have planned that will use parts of this engine in the future. Hoping this goes well.

NOTES:
There are errors in this area of space. Sometimes if moving too fast in one direction a gravity flux will crush nearby objects. Be careful.
You can not crash into nearby ships due to the magnetic impact shields. Sorry i do not want to get sucked out into space due to a CRACK in the GLASS!
AT LAUNCH:
You will be in one of 9 ships I am building/refining for experimentation.
The Ulysses Mark I is a basic short range exploration vessel that I have pitched into deep space to do some work for me. I have found my previous shuttle the Olympus V. I thought the beta's code had been destroyed ages ago.
Now this is all in very early stages. Honestly i've been using it as a learning/lab/sketch project and it has built over about 2 years. all 3d is in house. all touch FX are in house.
I am playing with many of the building controls at my disposal. I have a grasp on the controls however adding in more objects can get complicated and fuck up the math, hardcore. It is space after all.
These are the 3 ships that I am working on trying to fix or rebuild.

THE OLYMPUS (lost file 2008) (Transport)
THE (lost file 2008) (Small Cargo + Drill)
This is the only ship that flys at the moment.

You guys seem to like being updated on what I am working on at the moment so here is something a little different.
NOTE:
I think there might be some unarmed probes buzzing around in there...They might stick to the ship...sorry. I'm not kidding. the sprite is on my ftp in some folder and i don't want it to scare the crap out of people.

not sure. It's not true 3d, although it looks close, it reacts in flat space. so if I push the engine too much it all falls to shit. Maybe if I can get it stable in the future i will incorporate it more into the current lineup. However at this time I don't see how it would fit.
Well, One possibility could be character movement through your game, However unless your going to make it fully 3D, it would probably do more harm to the game than good.
However, expanding your understanding of game development is always good. It gives you more knowledge on things that you never know where you might need or be able to use in the future. Good luck with this project!
