I entered the url code incorrectly! I have done that numerous times, unfortunately. The link is only trying to point at the annoying comic strip I posted last week, however.

Not that your comic wasn't spot on but keeping the link to the church is comedy gold in itself...at least to me anyway. :)

I never saw a church! The only url I had was to the other comic strip, and the rest of them are the exact same link code heap I put on every picture, and they seem to be sending ME at least to the same pages as always. OH the ko-fi link is broken. I wonder if it has ALWAYS been broken or if that website made the hyphen mandatory recently. I can fix that, at least.

Well the internetz has been acting more weird than usual lately so I guess if you can fix the broken links that something.
If the links start sending you to a church or worse a magic school I'd consider getting a new internet provider... or enrolling in magic school :)

I am not, personally, but as a recurring element in fantasy, "magic school" continues to irritate me. I suppose I could have said THAT in the space instead!

Yeah, “magic” as described in fantasy books and “magic” as described in real-world grimoires very rarely overlap.

Magic should be beyond what any commonplace regressive government-run institution understands. Something so mundane that it is taught the same ways and in the same sort of facilities as long division and verb conjugation is both boring and depressing!

As far as the magic school goes, is it me or would a universe that has to have THAT many magic users be the absolute definition of a dystopia? I mean WHAT THE ACTUALL FUCK DO WE NEED ALL THOSE STUPID MAGIC USERS FOR HOLY SHIT!!

What is the point of shouting based opinions and observations from the mountaintop? Thinking them is one thing, sharing them with friends another, but broadcasting them to the world is a blatant plea for attention. An indiscriminate plea for all and sundry to HEARKEN TO MY WORDS!! Seems disingenuous then to gripe about the attention received just because it turned out to be the "wrong kind," especially at this point in time when Internet behavior is well documented and this outcome should have totally been expected.

Anyway, the snake is mostly right. However:

In fantasy worlds where magic actually works, it is shown as a technique that produces repeatable results, in other words a technology. The theory behind it would therefore be a branch of science. Should science & technology not be taught in school? What other way would people learn to use them?

Torture is an act of human cruelty, and yes that's a problem, but how is death a problem? Every living thing dies; it's natural and inevitable. Is breathing a problem too?

It can be stress relief, sometimes, to yell at nothing. I have tertiary twitter account full of annoyed remarks about news headlines and I don't think anybody reads it, though sometimes I take bits of it for "proper" updates on my primary website that maybe two people read.
I do think this creature was looking for attention, and indeed it got some after growing accustomed to the previous reactions. It finds the memetic nature of the attention suspicious, and unpleasant, even if it should not have been surprised.
Magic as science as boring, to me. Although science in fiction is often like magic, I still find school boring. Magic should be able to make schools that don't resemble ones I have been to or seen in non-magic-related media.
I initially said "killing" instead of "death" but death seemed harder, like killing has no impact for some reason. In the context "death is not a solution" and combined with torture, which generally is imposed, I thought "imposed death" was also implicit.
