"PERKINS!" The grizzled old wolf shouted at the otter, who immediately snapped to attention.
"Yes general?"
"Where the hell are Blondie and Dallas? The debrief was supposed to start 5 minutes ago!"
"I saw them out in the hallway, sir."
The wolf grumbled to himself and marched out into the hallway, where he did indeed find the shepherd and coyote in question. Dora and Aaron were seated right where he'd told them to wait, still in their gear, and both propped up against one another, soundly asleep. The coyote snored loudly, a stream of drool dripping from the corner of his open maw.
"Should I wake them, sir."
"You want to interrupt two of the deadliest operatives we have, be my guest. Best to let sleeping dogs lay, so to speak." The general smirked as he turned, leaving the snoozing canines to their much deserved nap.
