I really want to do a unicorn picture of the AC artshow, but I'm terrible at ungulates. Sooo expect plenty of warmup pictures from me.

This was done in Corel Painter on the ride home today. As it turns out, the battery life on this is only about an hour, and though the 'view anywhere' screen does allow me to see in daylight, it's still difficult to see colors correctly. humm.

I'm really enjoying Corel Painter so far, used 'artist oil' brushes for the unicorn and 'sumi e' for the leaves. The only complaint i have is that while there are plenty of magical brushes to choose from, I'm used to being able to edit the brushes with ease (especially opacity), something I haven't been able to figure out yet in painter. . .
