Hey fellow viewers,
This is a rough sketch of concept characters for a potential Inside Out 3 (or it's upcoming show). These two characters, Empathy and Sympathy, are not only based on ideas from the workers and artists at Pixar, but they relate to the events of the films around the consideration of other emotions (plus the duo act as more of a sister relationship). The other one, Autism, is a character that I've been curious if the writers for those films could explore in the future (despite not being an emotion), like how does Autism internally plays a part in everyday life. Although I am diagnosed with Persuasive Developmental Disorder, which a variant of Autism; however, I tried to be careful with his design and to represent him in a positive light that does not feel disingenuous or offensive. I always support the groups who are diagnosed with certain mental conditions, which I do respectfully try to acknowledge and understand them without casting any judgment. Plus, I'm always concerned about several films that would represent a person's mentality (including my condition) in the wrong way. Anyways, share opinions and critiques around these character designs. Hopefully, I didn't said anything wrong or bad about my thoughts on Autism (and other mental conditions). I shall continue on with my other projects and requests I need to work on without detouring any farther. As always, stay strong and stay safe.
