Long overdue commission for spartan0-6 of a logo/splash image of a lion and a lamb for his FA club, open_arms. If you're curious about the club itself, here's the synopsis of its mission as seen on its profile here on FA:
This is a group for Christian furries who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender. This group is meant to be a safe place where support and advice can be offered for those who feel ostracized by their family, friends, and/or God because of their sexuality. However, you don't have to be any of the above to be a member! We take supporters too!
So, if it fits you, I suggest you go there. Some nice folks run it, and you can never have too much support.
Done in Photoshop.

Well, it's run by two ubersweet guys, spartan0-6 and roaringlion who are nothing short of supportive of everyone they meet, so I don't think you could really go wrong!
Yeah, people love to quote the Old Testament in an attempt to shame gays into being straight, but they fail to understand that, as Christians, they are supposed to hold BOTH books of the Bible dear, and the teachings of Jesus are much more about tolerance, love, and living life with a bit of common sense. Being a bigot concerning someone else's sexual orientation just doesn't seem as though it would be something Jesus would be okay with to me. Then again, I'm no theology major.
Thanks so much for the compliments, Zannah. I appreciate it.

I didn't major in theology either, but I spent a large chunk of my life in a private christian school, so I'm pretty well versed (ha) in Biblical teachings. Jesus didn't hang out with the Jerry Falwells or Pat Robertsons of his day. He hung out with hippies and junkies and prostitutes, with blue-collar workers and the IRS men of his time. Basically the lowest of the low. The teachings in Leviticus were given to the Jews to keep them ALIVE in the desert for the 40 years of wandering they did. It's kind of hard to breed more kids if you're only having gay sex, so the prohibition makes sense for THAT time and THAT situation. Now? Not so much.
I'm bisexual and married to a gay man. We're both christians. None of those factors have ever been a detriment to our relationship or our faith, though it pisses us both off that because our marriage appears traditional, we get rights that our gay friends don't have. Stupid freaking double standards.

I love how clean and stream-lined this image is- it looks very sharp and proffessional. Like someone else said, this would make a great sticker or decal, or even tightly done embroidered patch.
Just goes to show that one can possibly be BOTH Christian AND gay/lesbian/bi/trans or just plain ol' open-arms tolerant, while certain 'pink-nosers' are the intolerant ones.
