This strapping lad is a Latrus, a species of feral animal on Ishigare my brainworld. With enamel coated legs they can be quite pokey, along with those spikes. Their strong slippery legs don't get stuck in the bogs and swamps that they live in, they're quite slow movers out of water, especially on uneven ground. However they are demon swimmers, with a powerful tail to propel them along they can reach some awesome speeds, thanks to a streamline body, however turning is a problem, with only 'fin wings' to help turn them, which usually become fairly tattered (not used for flight at all).

Their tounge glows and is used much like a lure, when a fish comes close they propell forwards, and one snap on that strong lower jaw and its over. strangley enough these guys prefer to scavenge as using their lower jaw is quite a lot of effort due to the weight of it, so it's often left dangling open, and the upper jaw uses razor sharp teeth to pick away at corpses.

These guys are feral, which on Ishigare means that they don't have any further thinking beyond basic instincts, not ability to talk, and often have a nasty temper. Thankfully all you have to do is climb some rocks or trees, to escape these lads haha~
