As the minutes ticked away, her heart rate speeds up a tad as she takes deep breaths to calm her nerves. As couple by couple are called in, her new friends Pyra and Roxanne waved to Fang as they left in each other's embrace. Fang waved back knowing her turn would come soon., and sure enough...
"Mr. & Mrs. Del Rosario?" The nurse asked.
"Present!" Fang chirped out, she took one more deep breath before getting up onto her feet cradling her belly. "Ready love?" she asked her husband.
"Ready" Blade nodded, "Come along Spinel, it's our turn now~"
"Coming papa!" Spinel said quickly, coming to his father's side. Soon, they headed into the back, where Fang was led to an exam room.
"Good afternoon Mrs. Del Rosario" the florges nurse said, "How are you feeling today?"
"Full and heavy, I uh....had quite the large breakfast on the way here" Fang blushed sheepishly as she heaved her body onto the table. The nurse then pulls up the medical history from Fang's file, as she checks everything.
"Eating well I suppose?"
"Oh you don't know the half of it, I'm practically eating double my body weight. I constantly ask for 3rds and 4ths for breakfast, lunch and dinner." Fang said, "It's all very delicious by the way honey~" She giggled at Blade.
"Thanks babe, we're just really excited to see what's going on in here" Blade pats Fang's belly as he takes a seat and lets Spinel sit on his lap.
"Well, let's get your wife prepped and the doctor will be in, shortly," said the nurse.
"You got it ma'am" Fang then leaned back on the medical bed as the nurse got to work checking her vitals. She blushed as the nurse felt up her belly making sure it's firm and taut as she prepares the ultrasound.
"Ah you're here~" The gardevoir doctor came in with a smile as the nurse handed over the paperwork. "Looks like everything is in order." She flips through the papers, "I'm assuming your cravings have really intensified as of late?"
"Oh you have no idea" Fang giggled softly. "Though my husband doesn't mind the extra padding~"
"Spinel's right here you know" Blade said with a blush.
"Huh?" Spinel cutely tilted his head.
"You'll understand once you're older." Blade explained as the ultrasound is turned on.
"Now this will feel a bit chilly at first, are you ready to see what's inside?" she asked as she squirted some silica gel onto Fang's bare belly making her shiver a tad.
"Yeah, I'm ready," Fang said while Blade held her hand.
The doctor then placed the sensor onto her gel covered belly while the nurse worked the screen. Fang's grip tightens around Blade's hand as her heart races with anticipation for what to be seen.
"Okay it's taking some time due to a layer of both fat and muscle" the gardevoir said as the screen blurs as it starts getting the signal, "but we should be seeing results right....about....now~"
Slowly the picture starts to clear up as the greyscale image of her womb until finally the ultrasound clears up. And the moment it cleared up a collective gasp was shared among the family and the doctor.
"Oh....oh my goodness" the doctor blinked in surprise.
"Is that...." Fang asked wide eyed.
"No way...." Blade slack jawed at the sight as on the screen, were three placentas and in them were three little fetuses with their tiny hearts pumping away though it's far too early to see what kind of pokemon they will be.
"Well then, at least we got an explanation on why you're eating so much~" the doctor smiled, "Congratulations Fang, you're having triplets!"
"Tri....trip.....three....triplets' ' Blade nearly fainted in shock, still gripping his wife's hand with his legs suddenly feeling like jelly. "Oh....oh my Arceus"
"Whoa, easy there!" cried the nurse as she managed to catch Blade.
"So, wait," said Spinel. "Mama's having THREE babies?!"
"You betcha, little man," said the doctor.
"Oh, my god...I can't believe it...!" Fang whispered as tears fell down her face.
