Yesterday I went along with  Neikrad and  mad5e to Milwaukee's Water and Air show. Mainly because the Freece Tricolori and the USAF Thunderbirds were performing there. And unlike EAA Airventure where the Tricolori did just a couple passes and flew south to Milwaukee. Here they put on a full aerobatic show .

And clearly the Italians were the center stage of the show, especially since they haven't performed since 1986.

Unlike at EAA, they performed over Lake Michigan, and unlike EAA, they were further out than over the runways. Not as close, but still effective none the less.

Plus from our position, not among the paid seating area. But a jetty where we were frequently splashed by lake water. BUT we were on a higher platform than the beach.

But it was seriously cool to see the TriColors fully perform with their ship formation along with their signatory tri-colored smoke.
