I can think of many advantages to being small - and some disadvantages too. I like the idea of being able to ride around in a pouch, or the big pocket on the front of a hoodie. Distant places would seem even further away to a tiny fur, but you could always hitch a ride on a normal-sized critter to get places faster. I carry plushies with me a lot as it is, so carrying a real living tiny fur would be even more fun. :)
You could jump into my hood or climb into my pouch pocket where it is most safe. Or, you can take a more daring approach and ride upon my shoulder where you can see everything ahead, but you'd better hang on tight. Big furs can cover a lot of distance very fast when perceived through micro-fur sized eyes. I could start a mass-transit service for micro-furs and carry a dozen at a time in my hood!
This reminds me of when my previous roommate's rabbit was really small. I put him in my hoodie pouch and carried him around that way, and he appeared to enjoy it. When I sat down, his head would come out, and he'd start to investigate where he ended up. He eventually grew too large to fit in my pouch though, so he'd just follow me everywhere around the house.
