Funny thought : as far as we know, Elestians seem to try creating some sort of heaven of Poseans. And yet, their guardians made both Ka and Lopa uncomfortable. In Ka's case, it was so wrong that she had to run away and pretend to die.
Of course Elestians can't be all knowing, but how come they didn't thought of it ? Maybe Posea is not supposed to be a perfect heaven ? Or maybe Elestians' moral is too different for them to create something good for Poseans ?

There's an inherent conflict between having a perfect, innocent paradise and filling it with people who are broken enough to feel they don't deserve it. Ka in particular is the sort of person who would look at a statement like "Moi is blind because if he wasn't he would attempt to murder me" and think that "Moi is blind" is the primary issue that needs to be resolved. A world that actively refuses to harm her doesn't give her any way of engaging her own issues.

Based on the previous chapter, it seems like Ka never did manage to fully heal herself in that life. Interestingly, it's possible that Moi did, based on his implied reincarnation's lack of visions.
