Illustration of the aborted project movie TMNT : Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 5 in which Michelangelo, the youngest of the Ninja Turtles tired of being relegated to the role of comic relief and underestimated by his brothers, decided out of desperation to join Karai and the Foot clan who welcomed him without reluctance, convincing him to accompany him and part of her army to their headquarters in Kyoto, Japan, the birthplace of ninjutsu.

In the weeks that followed, Michelangelo gained experience through intense training, learning ninjutsu techniques never before taught by his mentor Splinter. Unfortunately, while wandering around the Foot clan's fortress one evening, Mickey was contaminated by a magical substance that corrupted his mind, transforming him into the evil, hate-filled Shredder, while increasing his physical and mental strength tenfold. He used his new faculties to neutralize Karai and strip her of her title of clan leader, where he fought her in a particularly fast-paced ninjutsu battle that took him less than 40 seconds to defeat.

Upon awakening, Karai is securely tied/gagged and realizes that Michelangelo has been contaminated by the soul of a Shredder ancestor who has corrupted the turtle. Will she manage to free herself without a weapon to cut the ropes and then contact Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, Splinter, April O'Neil and Casey Jones to ask them to come to Kyoto to help her neutralize Michelangelo while managing to cure him ?
