Disappointment comes when an expectation is not met, be it from others or yourself. You need to ask yourself if the expectation is reasonable for anyone to meet it if they have what is needed, taking a third person perspective on the issue. If after that you find it is not a reasonable expectation, then you must readjust to make it reasonable so as to be less disappointed. If you still think it to be reasonable, allow for a safety net in case something happens.
