“… God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.” —1 John 3:20
For a bit of a background explanation, the verse, in my opinion, talks about how God is greater than the feelings of our 'heart'. Sometimes we mess up on something and then kick ourselves over and over, our heart basically 'condemning' us for our failures. The apostle John wrote that we shouldn't let our feelings get the best of us to the point that we think God would never forgive us for our mistakes. Since He is all-knowing, we should be at peace with the fact that God understands us completely and that He loves us all very much.
