This grass is thick. And surprisingly strong. My wings keep getting stuck in it and my armor is scratched. But there are all of these small things running around on the ground everywhere. the scanners show that they carry their skeletons on the outside. And it seams they have a microbial metabolism with some sort of hard fibrous matter inside them. Digesting plant matter? I may have to take a few of these for examination later.
