Once, the Sage was an adventurer, travelling to lands far and wide. Everyone knew his name, and he was loved by many. No obstacle could stand in his way if he fought hard enough, or thought hard enough. He brought joy and laughter wherever he went. That was in the past. Now, he enjoys a quiet life on his mountain, breathing in the cool breeze, watching the sunrise, and cultivating his berries. Others climb the mountain to partake of his vast stores of wisdom, wishing to become his disciples. And, what would be so wrong about helping himself to a bit of their coin in exchange?
