I'm gonna be honest with you. I am not a fan of the Portal franchise. I mostly did this pic out of a combination of stress relief and wanting to make something I know at least some people will like. Also decided to go ahead and add the Twilight Zone opening narration just for the hell of it. In a way it fits with what I've seen of the character.
On another note, Wheatley's voice seemed like a less exaggerated version of the deranged kiddie show host voice from Naughty Bear. If there is somehow a connection, I am not surprised.
