Hey everyone! I want to make a really incredible announcement now that things are very finalized: I have a scheduled date for my top surgery at long last!! Not only that, but we are also moving away for our business! I am asking for some support in funding for my top surgery copay as well as funding for our upcoming big move! I am going in to my final pre op appointment with my surgeon on Monday, which I am required to pay my copay of $710 to proceed. My surgeon is Dr Mark Mofid in La Jolla, CA and my scheduled surgery date is in near the end of August! It will be my first surgery out of the two my surgeon does in this procedure (my second surgery will be three to four months after I am fully healed from the first).
One could probably imagine how major of a surgery this is as well as the recovery, I will not be able to do anything physical for the bare minimum of 4-6 weeks if things go as smoothly as anticipated. I anticipate to be out of work for 1-2 weeks due to my limited range of motion and pain after surgery, though I do hope it’s not that long and I can get back to work sooner. I am beyond grateful to have the help and love from my wonderful wife to make sure I am healing safely.
The timing of it all couldn’t be crazier, as we have a big move about 700 miles away from where we live that is happening in the middle of October. Our move is very exciting as it’s in order to expand our current business operations! We have been doing initial packing/organizing to make things easier when the time comes, but given that I am able to heal within 4-6 weeks, this only gives me about 2ish weeks to pack/load/take care of anything else that I got to finalize. Not only do we have our apartment to move, but we have a lot of heavy candle making equipment and supplies on site and in storage.
It goes without saying that this is a very intense period of time for my wife and I, and we could use all the help we can get! My goal covers the $710 needed to cover my copay, around $1000 to help with the time I will be out of work, and $2000 for our moving expenses including truck, gas, and movers to help us load. I appreciate you taking the time to check this out, and please there is no obligation! I appreciate all donations and shares for this fundraiser, and I am looking forward to all the beautiful things on the horizon for the both of us!

a little note because i wish i had done it sooner with mine after theyd healed up enough but look into going about scar massage when theyre ready for it. my top scars were very tight afterwards and it was kind of uncomfy at times but scar massage has helped even if i picked it up way later than i should have ! x
