Luck has VERY little to do with your work on this one:

The leather-sheen on the collar may be 'simplistic horizontal lines', but they are well managed and in the right places.... PLUS the attention to the rivets holding the front tab.

And don't even GET me started on the irregular lettering scheme.

Ah, well, the collar I can explain- I'm a leatherworker, I've made MANY collars, and thus, I'm particularly familiar with general construction and leather texture. :3

This is just plain ol' heavy sketchbook paper with Prismacolour and Tria markers, Staedtler inking pens, some silver gelpen, and home-done lamination.

Forgive me if you disagree... but I feel this is one of your most gorgeous works. Perhaps it's the nature of the subject and not the actual artwork it's self. Very sexy expression and anatomy here... and everything is perfectly embroidered. The coloring also remains as one of your finest examples.

Wow, holy crap! I love the cool color scheme, you really made the monochromatic look appear AWESOME! I love all the teeny tiny details and the way you did the script. The umbrella looks a bit oddly shaped, but other than that this looks positively fabulous.
