lwut! Featuring OC's in his own universe, a human rents a room run by some enormous insects and starts to get a bit of a holiday buzz to go along with his constant stuffing and rampant gluttony. Enjoy!
Michael spun his cocoon in the middle of the Honey Jar's dining room, effectively ending the season for Pascal and Bernard. By the end, while he lay inside a giant nest of silk that nearly took up the entire room, the two proprietors made plans to welcome him, both thinking back to their own pupation— Bernard had taken copious notes to study Michael's favorite foods, and hopefully, he would wake up to a nice New Year's feast.
Winter fell heavy that year, blanketing the Honey Jar in a thick layer of snow. The entire holiday season passed, and the two waited while Michael hibernated through the darkest part of winter; it was a couple of days after the New Year when the heavy silk began to rustle, and Michael finally woke up.
He had grown while pupating, even larger than Pascal or Bernard. The huge, blubbery whale of an insect that emerged was a massive, magnificently sized moth. He now towered over Bernard, even, his antennae and feelers brushing the ceiling, and his fat, round head not far behind. Every part of him was enormously thick and fat, his belly unfurled in heavy reams of blubber like an avalanche, powerful muscle buried under all the flab somehow holding it up and keeping it from dragging on the floor. His limbs were all thicker than school buses, his arms each four feet thick. This vast body was adorned with bright gold stripes and rich brown fur, a pair of narrow fangs protruding from his mouth. As he shuffled around to try and get a look at himself, a wide, stretched out visage of a skull was emblazoned across the thick rolls of his back. He huffed, taking a few heavy, plodding steps as he grew accustomed to his body.
