Except Azerbaijan wasn't in my top five. I was really rooting for Ireland (Jedward!), young, out of sync as they were - it was so bright and awesome! With those ridiculous shoulder pads!

Also, DENMARK (eeei), Hungary, Ukraine, Switzerland and Moldova's crazy ?witches?. Iceland was sweet, but sad :(


The only things that made me sad face were I wish more had been in their native languages, they all sound so nice~ and maybe more groups of girls? It seemed to be either a single female singer or boybands everywhere. Girlbands pls?

tldr; music!

One of these days Sukkerchok has to get into Eurovision. They're a Danish girlgroup (not really a band, more Spicegirls type singing group) and I love them :3 They actually sing in Danish which I love the sound of-- I totally agree about the native languages too! The scandinavian ones are among my favourites and THEY ALWAYS USE ENGLISH ahhh ;n; At least the southern countries like Spain, Portugal and Italy (a little bit) used those languages though :3

I loved Hungary! And Switzerland and Denmark and Iceland ahah <33 And Lipstick is so damn catchy idfc. I loved their hyperactiveness 8D

Aww, I wish the US was as into Eurovision as Australia! Nobody here even knows about it except for those of us raised by the internet and really into Europop.

Australia might like it because we've got the Rock Eisteddfod - similar to Eurovision, but Australian only and with school band/students. It gets pretty elaborate and sweet, Eurovision reminds me of a LARGE version of it. Can't wait for the next: http://www.rockchallenge.com.au/
