Rosa Grayson was autistic and introverted, the furthest from a people person as one could get. Two things most of all had her open up: something good to eat or Pokémon.
Aspertia City wasn’t big as Castelia but it did make her feel like a Magikarp out of water. Though she preferred it when others didn’t pay much mind to her at school.
Some students weren’t exactly sensitive about how Rosa didn’t keep in shape. Nor how she mumbles when being called to speak for class. Few bullied her but some didn‘t always use their indoor voice around the “weird girl.”
It was for these reasons she was often turned down as a Trainer. Her study habits didn’t help either despite her desire.
Things started to change when Rosa met a lonely Snivy on a cloudy day, weak from little food or sunlight. She offered the stray starter the chocolate fudge bun she was having for breakfast and took it to school with her.
Snivy was often particular and persnickety but felt compelled to help Rosa in return. Hijinks ensued due to a lack of Poke Balls but it was the first school day Rosa would enjoy in a while.
Who knows what’s come next?

Hilda’s adventures are to be a long sprawling series of adventures in my BW adaptation. However, I have a solid vision for my version of Rosa and her adventure. Namely in how she’ll be the opposite of Hilda.
Rosa will get her iconic buns but this is her before her journey kicks off.
